ESAFORM is a European association with the mission to stimulate applied and fundamental research in the field of material forming. Its annual conference, the International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming, is used to achieve one of the main goals of ESAFORM: to spread scientific and technological information related to material forming within academic and industrial communities.
The 19th International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming – 
ESAFORM 2016 – will be held in Nantes, France. The conference will cover numerous disciplines related to material forming including all kind of materials (metals, polymers, ceramics and composites), processes (traditional and new forming processes), scales (micro, meso and macro) and approaches (modeling, simulation, experiments, …)
ESAFORM 2016 is jointly organized by Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France) and the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), with the support of three other institutions: The University of Nantes, The ENSAM Angers and the University of South Brittany.
The conference will bring together specialists from academia and industry all around the world, to discuss the latest technological innovations and recent achievements in material forming. Two pre-conference short courses are also scheduled.
The conference proceedings will be published by AIP (indexed in WoS).
